Homemade cakes and treats is one of the things that Riverhead has become known for.
We started out baking in the shops but soon outgrew this and now have an off-site bakery which provides delicious treats for both shops as well as wholesale orders, bespoke orders and regular opportunities to pop into ‘The Cake Hole’ at the bakery to grab a slice or a box of the daily specials.
The bakery is also home to the popular Fun Food Club for kids run by Nana Jan (our head baker) and Mimi Mini Baker (our young apprentice and owner Nic’s daughter).
Children from age 4 can come and learn baking techniques and make their own yummy treats to take home. The bakery also hosts kids parties for 8-12 children. Enquire about the Fun Food Club baking classes or parties:
